Mary Grace Wolnski is a painter living and working in New York City.

Trained in classical and contemporary dance, she brings her study of movement to painting where gesture, rhythm, and embodied instinct spill onto canvas.

She began her studio practice in Birmingham, Alabama in 2012.

Her training spans classical training in drawing, painting and sculpture in Florence, Italy and Baltimore, Maryland, and study in abstraction and land inquiry in Edinburgh, Scotland.

She has shown in solo and group shows across the southeastern United States and in New York City. Her and her work is held in private collections throughout the country.
